A new G2Radio interview is up: Sam Becerra a Vietnam Vet

Wow what a great interview with Sam Beccera who was in the US ARMY.... a draftee who went to Vietnam. Sam recounts his Army life for two years in this fabulous interview. It took me some time to get to Sam but it was well worth it. He talks about his boot camp, AIT, and then being put on a ship with 5000 other soldiers heading for Vietnam.. he's landing on the beach and being greeted by a band playing the national anthem! Now that's a way to enter the country.

What is most interesting about this interview is that it sheds light on the experience of one soldier who was drafted... and shows a side that most don't see or didn't know about.

Sam Becerra's interview can be heard at:

We are on the Air....

http://g2radio.blip.tv

Hello everyone. We hope you like our show and listen to ALL the interviews. If you have any suggestions for the show, please email us at g2radio@hotmail.com. We want to serve our listeners and give them the interviews they want so suggest things or even people we can contact to see if we can get their interview. We have had some great comments to the show as it seems even broader based then we had thought. It seems to have good “curb” appeal to all types of listeners. We are scheduling interviews over the next few weeks. We have Navy and Marine interviews but no Coast Guard, Air Force or Merchant Marine… so if anyone is or knows someone, please let them know about the show.

Show #001 is with Carl Spiva. Carl was in WWII at the end and was in the US Army. His job was in field artillery and he was stationed in the PI then was part of the occupation force in Japan. A very interesting and enlightening interview and is rated General Public.

Show #002 is with Steve Richey who was drafted in the US Army and sent to Vietnam. He tells many interesting stories and is a must listen for new service members. He tells some fun stories, to be sure!

We hope you enjoy G2 Radio…
